The Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a great thankgiving weekend, as it was really busy. I wish I had pictures to show you, but we have not yet gotten a digital camera. Soon.

Friday night was nothing special. Saturday morning we got up early to take part in the Bryden clean up day for Jon's grandparents. The guys worked quite hard a filling in the drive way, building a new section on the walk way and bring in the wharf. We girl managed to wipe off a few windows and dust the upstairs. We didn't mean for it to happen that way, but you girls know how it is. You get working with your friends and you start to chat. Before you know it you happen to be sitting on the bed, forgetting to move on to the next room. And suddenly, all the other work is done! Next year. After that, Jon and I head to our house with James and Caleb to work on our shed.

There was a good speaker at our church this Sunday, Mark Fogerty. Our pastor recently moved away and so now we are on the seach for a new one. Until then there will be a variety of speakers. Sunday afternoon, Jon and I baked pie for the Thankgiving dinner at the Howitt's. That night we had our first over night visitors...can you guess who...of course...James and Caleb.

Monday, once again was working on the shed and inside the house. The shed is now roof tight and the walls are 3/4 finished.

We are living permanently in our new house, which is great. We are saving so much on gas since we don't have to drive three different places everyday. We love our home!

Nat,
Glad you had a great thanksgiving. I spent part of mine in the emergency room with a broken foot. I made the doctors and nurses cringe and actually almost made the doctor who set my foot cry. I've seen your wedding photos, you made a radiant bride! By the way, Paul and I got married on July 22nd.
