Birthday, Flowers, and a classroom

This was a pretty busy weekend. On Saturday, Jon worked for his uncle doing construction at Carsand Mosher in Bayers Lake and then headed for to his cousins Birtjday party. It was Ashley's 21st birthday, so HAPPY BRITHDAY, ASHLEY!!! You are offically an adult all over the world.

I was planning on going, but since this is exam week at school I had to stay home to make up the exams. It took all of Saturday and an hour today; however, they are done and printed off in colour. Of course we had to run out of black ink. hehe

When Jon cam home after the party, he surprised me with the flowers you see below. What a sweetie. And there was cake too, but we ate it before I got a picture.

Flowers from Jon.
Today, Sunday, we went into my school to start fixing up my new classroom. I have been replacing a teacher on Mat leave, and with her coming back I have to take a new classroom for my new courses. It has only been used for the Breakfast club and a few resource classes, so the room is in need of a little fixing up. So I present you with: Trading Spaces, Classroom edition. Over the next week, I will be cleaning and organizing the classroom you see below. Next weekend will be pics of the finished work. So here are the BEFORE pictures!

It is very bleak and disorganized, but we'll see what I can do. Oh, and I am getting my glasses ordered this week. Not sure what I will get, as I dislike the look of all glasses on me. I'llkeep you posted.

That looks like a big but fun job. I always wish I were a teacher when I walk into Scholar's Choice and see all the cool posters and such...
