Jul turned 19 and Jon turned 21. As everyone said to him, his is now able to drink everywhere in the world. If only he did drink, eh!
As is our tradition now, Jon and I carved pumkins. Here are the results for this year. Mine is on the left; Jon's is on the right. The unfortunate thing...they rotted tgrough before halloween, so we didn't even have them for our 2nd annual party.
We had about 28 people at this years party. Our little house was full. And there were lots of great costumes. But here is a pic of my parents' dog, Amber. She really didn't mind being dressed up as...well...who knows what.
And this past Saturday, the weather called for a chance of flurries. We ended up with 6 inches by our house. A few trees hung over, and we'll have to cut them, but other than that, we thought is was great. Jon and I had my Ned and Nancy (counsin and hubby) for supper, and after they left Jon and I played in the snow. We made a snow man and threw snowballs. Great fun. I really hope we get lots of snow this year.
And last night, my mom had us and my in-laws over for supper. Since they had no power (due to the snow fall) it was at our house. So we didn't really go over anywhere, but is was a nice time.

I'm back

As not to bore everyone, I will jot-note our summer and September. I'll post pics another day when I am on my own computer.
- Jon and I had a great trip to Calgary where we visited Denis, Laura and Aiden. We had fun just hanging out, hiking, visiting the mountains and eating
- I had a great time gardening, making jam and pickling. Yeah, I'm a real country girl now.
- Jon and I got to be parents to a kid this summer. Little Jon. Here was great fun to have around. For my mother's dog on the other hand....well, I could have...well, we'll just leave it at that. Amber does not like my cat very much.
- Alicia is trying to get me to lie, but I won't. She says it is a game, but a lie is a lie. She wants me to trick my audience by playing two truths and a lie, but I said no, Alicia. She said I totally should do it. I shall not give in.
- It is three am Friday nigth/Saturday morning, and we are having a girls' night. We thought I should finally do a blog entry and this is the result.
- School has been going good. I am at a local high school teaching Immersion courses and IB French.
- Jon's job is going great. He will soon be taking his first educational leave. And there have been plenty of extra jobs to get done. I'll post pics of all the work he has done at our house over the summer. It is really coming together.

Not much else is new, so I stop until I can post some pics of our summer. And it won't be three months until I get it done.

It's a small world after all

The past two weeks have been very interesting and exciting, so allow me to enumerate the series of events.

The weekend of June 1st, due to unfortunate circumstances, Laura was down in Nova Scotia. This surprise visit allowed us to see her and Aiden, and what a sweet boy he is. He is starting to look around lots and be curious; can't wait to see him smile. Maybe in two more weeks when Jon and I are in Calgary. Well, while Laura was down, herself, my mom and me went to Waves Seafood and Grill for some fish and chips. While eating, a young professional couple walked by and ohh-ed and ahh-ed over Aiden. She was clearly expecting herself and seeing Aiden was a glimpse into their soon-to-be-life.

This same weekend, I had three interviews for permanent teaching jobs. All of them went well; it was then just the waiting game to see if I got one of them. One interview I had was at Park View Education Center for an immersion position. I really wanted this one, so there was tons of prays from everyone. Last weekend went slowly by until Friday when I heard from Park View saying I was the successful candidate. Yeah!!! So I know am a permenant teacher and well...I am very happy.

This past weekend we had serveral fun parties. Tom, Paula, and Julianna came for supper Friday. Toni spent the weekend at our house while my mom was away. Saturday we went to a Bryden birthday party for Steve, Amy and Amanda. Then on Sunday I got to go to a baby shower for one of Paula's cousin's wife.

When I arrived, I told Paula about the couple at Waves and how cute they were, and low and behold, guess who the expecting mother was: the lady from Waves. What a small world! Also, the principal that hired me, his wife was there. What a small world!

So a great two and half weeks. Laura, it was really fun to see you, your sister and the babies. Jon and I can't wait to see you and Denis in only two weeks!!! about ;-)

Finally...an up-date

Well, I am finally doing an up-date. Great job Jonny!

Well, hopefully I will be able to up-date more frequently, but I am in the process of looking for a job for next year. Karen called Tuesday night and said "I think I am going to buy a ticket and come to Halifax for the weekend. Want to go see Dee?" And she was serious and so we did! Karen flew in Friday night, and early Saturday morning I picked her and Alicia up in Halifax and then Meredith just past the airport. On ward we were to surprise Dee.

The laughter began with Alicia, Karen, and myself seeing this random moose in the back of a truck. So random, but then again...it is Nova Scotia.

We really wanted us arriving to be a surprise, which was hard as it is a small town and we weren't sure if she would spot us quickly or not. When we arrived we called and called in hopes to be talking to her on the phone as we rang the door bell, but she wasn't in. Here is us sneaking around her house.

After the many hugs and touching the belly, we headed for a walk to see the sights of McAdam. Here is the gang.

After numerous photos around town we head back to eat and talk. We looked at pics and remembered old times, while creating new ones with each other and our new friend Meranda. She is so nice. What a blessing she is to Dee. As the night progressed, things turned silly. The ballons which were meant to decorate for the baby shower part turned in to fake prego bellies. What a blast. You should see the individual pics. So funny and some look pretty realistic! Here we are. Can you find the real prego in the pic?

After church, we had lunch a the best local restaurant, and it was great. Good food for a low price. Then one last photo session before hitting the road.

                                                                   I love this pic.

It was an incredible weekend, and I am so glad I was able to make it. Thanks Josh, Fe and Jule for letting me cancel on our outing! There are so many other memories but it is hard to write everythin on this one blog entry. I have added one last pic of Ginger after she got spaded. She looks for cute with her cone, but the eyes are a little freaky.

Lastly, check out Dee's blog to see more pics and get a different point of view.

What a weekend!

We had a great weekend, as it was full of parties and get togethers with friends and families. To start off, Denis had his big 3-0 last week, and here is a nice pic of Denis and Laura. Happiest B-day, Denis. I wish I could have been with you, but this summer! Yeah July 1st!

Friday night we had Tom, Paula, Mabel and Felisha over to our house for supper. It was a really great time. Lots of laughs with each other and with the new kitty. After supper and playing with Ginger, the ladies decided to play a game called Worst Case Scenerio Surviving Life (great game!) Mabel won!

And what were the men doing? After a rather relaxed weekend with Jon helping his parents lay flooring and me swimming with my friend Geneviève, we have had two busy days getting new pets. Today Jon and I got our kitten, and we called her Gracie. Here are some pics.

Gracie relaxing in her bed. They have been looking for a couple weeks, and here she is. Her name is Amber, and what a hyper thing she is. Her and Maggie will be great friends, I'm sure.

Blond with blue eyes.

Maggie with her new play mate: Amber

And Jon digging us out Monday afternoon. It all started Friday night with breaking from our normal routine of groceries and movie. We invited my parents and Toni over for supper. It was nice to have some quality time with them, as life has been really busy for us at work. My parents are looking into getting a dog, so a lot of the night was spent searching the SPCA in Nova Scotia for my dad's new best friend. They have applied for one in the Dartmouth area; a black lab with boxer. Very cute looking and hopefully she will get along with Maggie!

Here are my parents relaxing on the fouton as we chit chat and discuss the next great chef.

Toni was with us Friday night but left for youth group before I could get a

pic. Here is her Saturday night, after Jon and I got home from Halifax. She babysat Maggie. ;-) Oh and there are my new glasses.

Saturday day was spent sleeping in, eating breakfast, and then heading to the Davidson cottage for some outdoor fun. We got to go skidooing and skating. I love to skidoo, so it was really nice to finally get out. We had to stay on the lake, as there isn't enough snow, but still fun.

Here is Paula, Felisha, and me. They skated most of the time. And played hockey. Josh and Fe are also looking into getting a puppy, which Jon and I found for them on the internet Friday night.

Here is Jon getting ready to skidoo.
Here is me getting ready to skidoo.

Here is Josh diligently clearing the ice.

All in all a great weekend, and hopefully Maggie will have some new friends soon.

Trading Spaces: Classroom addition

We had a nice weekend. We managed to get work done but still felt rested. Here are some pics.

Jon bought himself a mask for insulation and painting. This is what I made this past Saturday: Blitz crepes with blueberry syrup, bacon, and mango/strawberries with yogourt. It was yummy.

Satuday supper was spent with Jon's mom and dad (right) and his grandparents (left). It was a nice supper with some catching up. After that, we headed to my parents for a bit to see how they were, and watched movies.

Gridiron Gang is a great movie. The best I have seen in a month.

Now is the make over part of the blog. Here is my new classroom all fixed up and ready to go. A day off is always appreciated.

The snow which caused the snow day.

Maggie enjoying her snow day, as she does everyday.

Well, to all of you at work right now, hope you enjoy your productive day, as I somehow manage to find the energy to do...something. On Saturday, Jon worked for his uncle doing construction at Carsand Mosher in Bayers Lake and then headed for to his cousins Birtjday party. It was Ashley's 21st birthday, so HAPPY BRITHDAY, ASHLEY!!! You are offically an adult all over the world.

I was planning on going, but since this is exam week at school I had to stay home to make up the exams. It took all of Saturday and an hour today; however, they are done and printed off in colour. Of course we had to run out of black ink. hehe

When Jon cam home after the party, he surprised me with the flowers you see below. What a sweetie. And there was cake too, but we ate it before I got a picture.

Flowers from Jon.

Today, Sunday, we went into my school to start fixing up my new classroom. I have been replacing a teacher on Mat leave, and with her coming back I have to take a new classroom for my new courses. It has only been used for the Breakfast club and a few resource classes, so the room is in need of a little fixing up. So I present you with: Trading Spaces, Classroom edition. Over the next week, I will be cleaning and organizing the classroom you see below. Next weekend will be pics of the finished work. So here are the BEFORE pictures!

It is very bleak and disorganized, but we'll see what I can do. Oh, and I am getting my glasses ordered this week. Not sure what I will get, as I dislike the look of all glasses on me. So here is the news...

* Jon and I had a very nice Christmas. Though is was super busy with two familes, we really enjoyed ourselves and got lots of rest. I got to see my brother Steven, who was down from Toronto, and we had a few games nights together. Unfortunately, the only sad thing about this Chrsitmas was the lack of snow; no ski-dooing for us.

* I am back to school and only have one more week until exams. After exams I change jobs. I will be moving upstairs to teach Immersion Students Law 12 and French and a Core French 11 class. Very much looking forward to it, as some classes I only have 1 or 2 students!!! Most of the Core French students are taking the class as an indenpendant study, so they only come to my class when they have a free. So be interesting.

*Jon is back to work and is loving it still. They are working on two houses, both near the ocean in the Lunenburg area. He is making plans for changing our front yard in the summer.

     * And....we got a digital camera!!! Yeah!!! So from now on, there will be pictures of our lives and what is going on. We bought a Canon PowerShot A530 with 5 megapixels and 4x optical zoom. I am happy with it. So here are some pics of our weekend.

We had supper at my mom and dad's house with some aunts and uncles.

Here is Jon and me with Jon's slightly closed eyes.

So that is all for now, but there should be more regular updates.

And we present...

Maggie!!!

We decided to get her. We drove to the Digby area last Sunday where we picked her up at the SPCA. She was immediately playful with us, but settled right down once we got on the road.

Since Sunday? Well, I don't think we could have gotten a better dog. She is friendly and smart. Maggie was already house-trained, so that was a relief. Our new carpets are saved! She loves to go for walks and get belly rubs, but is able to hang out by herself while we are gone all day. We set her up with a long leash on a long rope, so she has plenty of room to explore. There is also a little dog house under the house (the mini-home is not being skirted until next year) for when it rains. Besides her already good habits, she has adapted very well to our routine, though she is learning that once we are asleep she can lay on the couch all night. We are training her to stay off funiture.

But all in all...we are so happy. Maggie is the perfect addition to our family. I'll put up more pic of her when I can get a hold of a digital camera.

In other news...our tree is up and all presents are bought, wrapped, and the last will be mailed tomorrow. I only have one and half weeks until Christmas break. Jon has two, but then we get to sleep in, hang out with family, and enjoy the season. Pics coming soon.

And lastly, as I mentioned before, my sister-in-law and brother are going to have a baby. But since I wrote that, I was informed that it will be a boy. Yeah! Can't wait to see him, Denis and Laura!

Doggy with no name

Last night at a Davidson dinner, Jon and I found out about a dog who is part husky and who is looking for a home. We have been thinking about a dog but not until the summer. However, this dog is going to be put down on Thursday is no one takes her.

The dog was found by a lady who took her to the SPCA. They say she is about 2 years old, happy and good with kids. We will be finding out some more information in the next day or so, and we will keep you posted. Here are two pics of our potential new dog. Not sure what we would call her. But since they don't, I will make the blog announcement....Denis and Laura are expecting their first child this April. I did mean to make an entry before this but wanted to make sure I had parental consent. Here is a pic of Laura 3 month ultrasound.

Jon and I are very exicted to be an aunt and uncle. That same weekend, we had Toni here, guests from Quebec (Bible school students on a youth ministry thing), and James and Caleb. Very jam packed weekend. We also had Sunday lunch with Steve, Julia and their three kids. That was great fun. Now we are hoping to have them and an other couple over for a games night. A friend, who will remain nameless, (right Erin K?), said that we sounded so adult-like. Very weird to hear that I am an adult. But I guess it had to happen at some point.

Last weekend was fun. Only two days with students and then two in-service days. I also got to have lunch with Erin, Alicia, Inga and Inga's friend who I happen to know from SMU. But I forgot her name!

This past weekend, we had Josh and Felisha for a Chinese Fondue. Very big thing in Quebec. Ironic, I know!

Well, I guess that is about all. And one last time...it is Laura who is pregnant, not me. But maybe someday...

Top Ten Reason for Loving Marriage

Since nothing much is new, I thought I would take this time to say how much I love married life and why.

1) I love having someone to go to sleep beside. It is toasty warm!

2) I love waking up with Jonathan, and even though I don't really talk until I have eaten and
brushed my teeth, his presence and smile are truly appreciated.

3) I love having someone who will deal with the garbage. Compost reeks!

4) I love knowing that he will always be there. He is a constant in my life.

5) I love being able to completely goof off or be serious or nothing. There is never an
awkward silence.

6) I love feeling like I am the most beautiful woman in the world when he looks at me.

7) I love having the dishes done for me every night. Lucky...I know.

8) I love knowing that I am Jonathan's most trusted and best friend.

9) I love having someone around all the time. I dislike being alone for too long.

10) Finally, I love knowing that I have truly found someone I cannot live with out.

So those are my top ten reason. Assuming there was going to be good weather, we invited a fair number of people for such a small mini-home. There was going to be a bonfire with the hotdogs and smores, a fuseball competition and other games. However, being fall and all...there was 90 km winds and 40 mm of rain. Needless to say, the party was solely in the house.

We ended up playing a favourite "university" game: Mofia. How many parties were spent sitting in a huge circle, lieing and munipulating those closest to you? Highlights of teaching my family such a game: Jon's grandmother taking pictures during "night time" and seeing Jon's mom get "eliminated" during ever first round; sound familiar? The evening ended with much food and pan-fried hotdogs. Not bad.

In other news: during the summer, Jonathan had an interview for another carpentry company. Though the boss really wanted to hire Jon, he was unable to until the new site was started. We waited and waited, but never a positive yes. We finally decided to forget about it and have Jon continue on where he was. But...the phone rang last Tuesday. The new boss, after two months, now wanted to hire Jon and for much more money than we ever expected. We can only thank the Lord. Now Jon has a 10 minute drive to work and more money.

Well that is all for news for now.

Carving Pumpkins

Jon and I decided that we would go back to our childhood traditions and carve pumpkins this Halloween. I have actually never done it before, but I found it fun. There is this moment, however, when you first get the pumpkin in front of you that you feel artistic doubt. What should I draw? How should I make the eyes? Once it is carved there is no going back. But we managed and here are the results. I borrowed my parents' camera.

Here is Jon's pumpkin. We had her over for cake at our new house before it was fully done. It is an upside-down pineapple cake. A fun party with family and friends, playing Cranium, hitting a pinnata (Jon hit the tv, but it didn't break) and food. His actual birthday is tomorrow, Tuesday. Happiest birthday, Jonny. I love you so much and can't wait to spend so many more with you.

Also this weekend, we saw off Amanda, a cousin, as she is leaving for RCMP training in Alberta. She will be gone for six months, and will more than likely be posted out west after. We'll miss her. Best of luck Amanda! I know you'll do great!

Leave Jon a birthday note if you like. I wish I had pictures to show you, but we have not yet gotten a digital camera. Soon.

Friday night was nothing special. Saturday morning we got up early to take part in the Bryden clean up day for Jon's grandparents. The guys worked quite hard a filling in the drive way, building a new section on the walk way and bring in the wharf. We girl managed to wipe off a few windows and dust the upstairs. We didn't mean for it to happen that way, but you girls know how it is. You get working with your friends and you start to chat. Before you know it you happen to be sitting on the bed, forgetting to move on to the next room. And suddenly, all the other work is done! Next year. After that, Jon and I head to our house with James and Caleb to work on our shed.

There was a good speaker at our church this Sunday, Mark Fogerty. Our pastor recently moved away and so now we are on the seach for a new one. Until then there will be a variety of speakers. Sunday afternoon, Jon and I baked pie for the Thankgiving dinner at the Howitt's. That night we had our first over night visitors...can you guess who...of course...James and Caleb.

Monday, once again was working on the shed and inside the house. The shed is now roof tight and the walls are 3/4 finished.

We are living permanently in our new house, which is great. We are saving so much on gas since we don't have to drive three different places everyday. We love our home!

It really hit home and other news

Well, what an interesting week here at school. Some of you may have been listening to CBC and heard of a threat posed by a student at a school on the South Shore. Well...it was my school. A student this week, at the smoking pit, mentioned something about bring a gun to school and killing people. To stifle any rumours, there was no gun at school and there was no official list. The student was arrested right away and he is in jail right now, awaiting his trial. He has pleaded guilty to one charge involving the school and 9 others not.

The scary thing is that I teach this student, and though we never had an problems, I am not sure that would have stopped him from potentially opening fire in my classroom. What would I do? We now keep our doors locked and have had to train the students to deal with such situations if they arise.

You hear about the shootings on the radio and tv: Montreal CEGEP, Amish school in the States...but it is quite un-nerving when it hits home. Thank goodness a student spoke up and the situation was dealt with. I will not dwell on the what-ifs, but still....

In other news which is a little more up beat, Jon and I will be moving into our house this week. Yeah!!! And this weekend also starts the weekend of parties. October is going to be crazy but fun.

And finally before I go, I need to make one more public thank to my brothers. Some odd reason, I totally take them forgranted and all that they did for me during the week of the wedding. They organzied sound systems and fixed stuff, they really so much behind the scene things. And also...they were the best MCs I could have asked for. They were funny and effcient. Thank you, Denis and Steven. Could have done it with out you!

Well, have a great weekend!!!

One Month Anniversary Already!!!

Well, it has already been one month since Jonathan and I have gotten married, and it have been the best month of our lives. We have been living at Tom and Paula's cottage until our mini-home is fully functional. It took awhile to get electricity, but now we are only missing the pump for the septic and we are ready to officially move in. I have to admit, we have spent a few night there. As for the unpacking...it is coming along nicely. We work on it most evening. Well, I work on that and Jon is working on the shed; doing a great job I might add.

We are both working at our full-time jobs now also. I am teaching core french, french immersion and one english course at the junior high level. Next semester, I will be at the high school teaching Law 12, English Communication12, Core French 11, and Francais 10. Steven arrived on Thursday; Denis and Laura arrived on Saturday; and everyone is sleeping in the same house!!! Oh well!

Tomorrow is the Bachorette party, thanks to Alicia. Thursday is the rehersal and rehersal dinner. Then wedding on Friday. Then I start work on Thusday. From left to right: Grandmama Perron, Mom, Toni, and Jon.

Here was our second visitor yesterday. Tom, Jon's father, on his motorcycle. And yes...I have been on it for a ride a few times with Jon.

And here were the third visitors yesterday. Nannie Davidson, Amanda, and Gramps Davidson.

So now for pics of the home itself. Here is our bedroom. The door there leads to our private bathroom. There is a walk-in closet to the left of that door. And we have a nice big window. Can't wait to get some stuff in there.

Here is me in our kitchen. I just love it!!! It is really bright and sunny.

Here is a pic of the living room. In the back right corner are two door. Door on the right is the second bathroom and door on the left is the spare bedroom.

There are actually three bedroom, but one will be an office and eventually a baby room. Yeah...weird to think of me with kids...I know.

And here is Jon in the living room but from the other angle.

Well, that is our home for now. We'll have more pics once we move in and settle down. Oh...and two weeks from today we will be married!!!

Nathalie and Jonathan

Davidson Dinner and The Fireworks

This was a pretty good weekend. We had couples night with Josh and Felisha, Tom and Paula, and Jon and meself. After supper we played dominos. I have to admit that I was awful; but in my defense, I had never played the real way before. Here is a picture of me and Jon.

Then Saturday night was a blast. A few of us went to the fireworks in Halifax for Natal Day. I am sure the fireworks would have been really great to see, but from where we were standing most of the fireworks were hidden behind the world trade centre. I guess next year we'll have to make sure we are over in Dartmouth. Here are some pictures of us downtown.

Alicia, Toni, and me (Toni lives with my parents).
James and Jon (James is the best man in the wedding).

                                                                   And Jon and me.

After the fireworks, there was a good time at Alicia's just telling old stories and joking around. It was great fun. Hope you all had a great weekend too.

Nathalie

Latest Land Pics

Here are some pictures I took last night while Jon and I were clearing the last section of trees.

Here is Chainsaw Jonny.

Jonathan really wanted me to put a picture of the back of his truck on...so here it is. Unfortunately, I have no pictures this time. Jon and I really need to get our own camera soon!

First off...Josh, Jon's brother, had his 22 birthday. There was a nice supper hosted by Paula (Jon's mama), and lots of good times. Josh & Felisha, Andy & Anna, Micah, Luke Miller, the Howitt brothers, and the family were all there. And I have to mention the awesome cakes that Felisha made!!! Ummm!

Then off to the big Ex. Jon, myself, the Howitt guys, and Toni all went. There were the crazy rides, which I can no longer handle. Seeing both Jon and myself are not fans of the crazier rides, we went on the Ferris Wheel to not kiss at the top. ;-) And there was the cotton candy and the candy apple. And, this year, we added the horse pulls.

But I have to say the the best...umm..no, no...the worst/scariest part of the weekend was tubing on Sunday. So the situation: there was a miscount tubes, so Jon and I decided to share the biggest tube. Also, the River is the fastest it has been in a few years, so there are a lot of rapids. Normally the rapids wouldn't such a big deal, but with the combination of the tube, me & Jon on it together, and the fast water...well, there was a bit of an accident. The rapids flipped Jon and I off the tube into the water a few times. For the sake of my mother...I will only tell you about the last time. We flipped and under we went. Jon went to grab me but I pushed away as I wasn't hanging on to the tube. He is yelling that it will be okay, to float, and other words of encouragement. as we both try to avoid the large rocks. He bumped into one and hurt his leg....I managed to slide over several shape ones on my back. Once we got a hold of each other, he tried to get me back on the tube and out of the rough water. We finally managed by getting a grip on a large rock. So, Jon missed work on Monday, but is doing good now. I have some bruising on my arms and legs and my back has some cuts, scrapes and bruises; however, all is healing well. The incident only made me love Jon all the more as he took lead and protected me.

So there is the late up-date of the weekend. This week so far...building permit in...mini-home arriving on August 15...cutting trees again. So not overly exciting.

Nathalie

The Land is Coming Along

This week our land has really come along. Over the last month and half it has gone from forest to earth with tons of logs and stumps to what you will see below. I owe the majority of the labour to Jonathan, but we also had help from our families and friends. Our contractor started coming this week so things are really underway now.

This is a picture of the start of the driveway. A lot more earth has been added and some shale.

This is a picture of where the mini-home will be setting, but just picture 40 more loads of earth. And the woods you see in the background....that is what we started with.

This is a picture of the big machine they used to clear the land, take out stumps, etc.

And finally, this is a picture of the stumps and the front of our property. The stumps are all gone now, and we were able to keep some really nice hard woods.

Well, I post more pictures as the land keeps coming along.

Nathalie

My First Post and An Up-date

Well, this is my first blog posting ever, and I think that this will be a great way to stay intouch with people. What is new with me? If you happen to notice the picture with the handsome young man holding me in the evening woods...that would be my fiance, Jonathan Davidson. This picture was taken one of the first times we went ski-dooing this past winter.

We are getting married September 1, and as of tomorrow that is only 6 weeks away!!! I really can't wait. Who knew that finding the love of your life was actually so easy?

In other news...we are living in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. We have ordered a new mini-home which we will be putting on some land on a dirt road. Who would have guessed that I--a city girl--would be living, willing I might add, on a dirt road in a small town! We hope to have the home a few weeks before the wedding, so right now we are hulling brush and cutting trees in order to get a well and the such in. It is really fun, but tons of paper work.

Besides that...we both work. Jon is a carpenter and I am a teacher...so I guess Jon is working and I am on vacation, for now.

Well, I guess this is the end of my first blog entry. Hope to hear from you!

Nathalie (The Frenchie)
